Congregants may remember Kesher Israel had Shavuot learning sessions in past years. This year we are renewing our Shavuot program, but with a twist. With all the traumas the Jewish people have been facing in recent days and years, we thought we could take some time to open our hearts and hear about real miracles from our own Kesher physicians in their practice of medicine. These will be wonderful surprises and totally unexpected occurrences.

We’ll let the doctors speak for themselves. The following have confirmed their participation:

Beth-Ellen Kroope will be the moderator.

Our Rabbi Mitchell Romirowsky will light the Shavuot candles at 8:05 PM.

The last piece of cheesecake will probably be gone by 8:30 PM. We’ll end by then to

give people time to get home while there’s still some light in the sky.

This is not a medical conference. But when Kesher Israel physicians and congregants

get together, one idea launches another, and that’s how we all learn together.
